Statement on immunization against seasonal influenza for people infected with HIV

Following a referral to the Directorate General of Health on a review of the recommendation for vaccination against seasonal influenza for people living with HIV, the High Council for Public Health recommends vaccination of all HIV-infected individuals, regardless of their age and immuno-virological status.

Statement issued by the French Commission of experts on communicable diseases (Commission spécialisée maladies transmissibles), on the proposal of the Technical Vaccination Committee (Comité technique des vaccinations - CTV) on January 29, 2010.
