Recommendation on the administration of additional doses for vaccination against COVID-19

In consideration of multiple variables such as the epidemiological situation, the circulation of new variants, the effectiveness of the different vaccines, the characteristics of the vaccinated population (immunocompromised, immunosenescence), the advancement of vaccination in Argentina and according to what was agreed in the meeting with CoNaIn on October 25, 2021, the following is recommended on the application of an additional dose for two defined population groups:

• Immunocompromised people who have received a primary series with any COVID-19 vaccine.

• People 50 years of age or older who have received a primary series of inactivated COVID-19 vaccine.
